Delete my account

It is done from the app, instantly, and you do not need to write to anyone. This page explains how, what gets deleted and what does not. Leer en castellano.

From the app

  1. Open Meditor and go to Settings (the gear, bottom right).
  2. Your account is at the very top. Open it.
  3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

It is immediate. If the app asks you to sign in with Google again before deleting, that is a Google security measure for accounts with an old session: sign in and repeat step 3.

What gets deleted and what does not

Deleted, for good

  • Your Meditor account (the one created when you linked Google).
  • Your email, your name and your profile picture.
  • Any progress copied to the cloud, if you had Meditor Pro.

Untouched

  • What is on your phone: the streak, the practices, the notes and the settings stay there.
  • If you want to delete that too, it is another button: Settings → Data → Reset progress, or uninstall the app. It is explained in Delete my data.
Without an account there is nothing to delete on any server. Meditor works entirely without an account and without internet. If you never tapped "Link with Google", your data lives only on your phone and goes away with the app when you uninstall it.

If you cannot do it from the app

Write to contactomeditor@pebas11.com from the same Google address you linked, with the subject "Delete my account". It is deleted by hand and we reply when it is done. No need to explain why.

How long it takes

From the app, right away. By email, a few days. In both cases the deletion is final: there is no trash bin and no way to recover it, so if what you want is to change phones without losing your streak, do not delete anything: link the same account on the new phone.

Everything else about your data is in the privacy policy. Meditor is a project by pebas11.
